Walton Hall Garage Ltd are Appointed Representatives (for General Insurance) of Autoguard Warranties, who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Their FCA number is 354568.

Our business is permitted to arrange finance contracts and is also permitted to provide information, advise on and arrange the sale of general insurance products. We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Please note - the FSCS only covers General Insurance Mediation, not Consumer Credit. Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 90% of the claim, without any upper limit. For compulsory classes of insurance, insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limit. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS.

Regulated Products & Services We Offer

Finance & Insurance:

As a licensed credit broker we can introduce you to a limited number of lenders (a list is available on request) who may be able to help you finance your purchase. The group of lenders provides us with a range of products which may be suitable for your purchase. We will explain the key features of those products to you. We are not Independent Financial Advisors and so are unable to provide you with independent financial advice. There are also other sources of finance which you may wish to investigate. There is no fee for this service. We may receive a payment(s) or other benefits from finance providers should you decide to enter into a finance agreement with them via us.

We currently offer Combined GAP Insurance, Commercial Use Used Car Warranty from a single insurer as follows: Autoguard Warranties Ltd with UK General Insurance Ltd on behalf of Bastion Insurance Company Limited. We will assist you in assessing your needs for these products listed. The purchase of these insurance products is entirely optional.

We will not provide advice, but may make an introduction for our 5 Day Driveaway Motor Insurance to the insurer which is Aviva Insurance Plc.

 

Non-regulated Products & Services We Offer

Non Commercial Use Used Car Warranty:

All of the vehicles we supply include a warranty which is administered by Momentum Warranties Ltd. The warranty is in addition to, and will not affect your statutory rights*. We promote and present all of the vehicles we sell on our website www.georgesonscars.co.uk and at our showroom with a 12 months Momentum Platinum Plus warranty included in the price. The warranty period can be extended to a maximum term of 36 months for an additional premium. Extended warranty cover is entirely optional. If you were to opt out of the extended 12 month warranty, cover would be reduced to a Momentum Secure level of cover for 30 days or 1000 miles and a discount of £395 would be applied to the purchase price. Vehicles marketed on any third party website will be advertised at an already reduced price, with a level of warranty reduced to Momentum Secure for a term of 30 days. For any vehicles advertised on these sites there is still an option to upgrade to any of the extended term warranties upon payment of the required fee.

Fixed Price Service Plan:

Pre paid fixed price service & MOT plans can only used at Georgesons Service Dept. This product cannot be transferred from vehicle to vehicle. Any remaining service or MOT entitlement expires immediately upon transfer of ownership, and this product has no redemption value.

Data Protection & GDPR - Fair Processing Notice

Your personal data is held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Some or all of your data that you supply to us in connection with your finance or insurance proposal will be passed to insurers and other companies in order to operate your contract (for example underwriting, premium collection, claims handling). We will pass your details to our partners in order to offer some forms of finance or insurance. We will not pass your details on to any third parties for marketing purposes, and nor will we contact you without your prior consent in relation to marketing of any products or services we offer.

If false or inaccurate information is provided and fraud is identified, details will be passed to fraud prevention agencies. Law enforcement agencies may access and use this information. We and other organisations may also access and use this information to prevent fraud and money laundering, for example, when: Checking details on applications for credit and credit related or other facilities,  managing credit and credit related accounts or facilities, recovering debt, checking details on proposals and claims for all types of insurance and checking details of job applicants and employees

What to do if you have a complaint:
